A sauna ritual that nourishes all the senses, guided by a traditional sauna master, offers a piece of Finnish cultural tradition and gives you an experience of the healing power of sauna and steam (löyly).
You will enjoy a whisking, herbal steam, a short sauna treatment, and the incantations and songs that are part of the traditional sauna ritual. In the sauna ritual, you will get to know the sauna tradition using natural gifts, whisks (vihta) and sauna incantations such as the Löyly Greeting.
In addition to the ritual, your reservation includes an introduction to Finnish sauna tradition before entering the sauna and relaxing time in the sauna cabin or on the terrace after the sauna ritual.
Duration of the ceremony is approx 45 min (with cooling breaks).

A brief introduction to the Finnic sauna tradition
A löyly greeting
Gentle warming whisking
Seasonal sauna treatment (with e.g. honey, peat or herbal salt)
Towels
Herbal drinks.
You may attend the sauna ritual wearing a swimsuit or nude if your group chooses so. The sauna healer is not naked but dressed in a sauna gown.
The ceremony is held in the treatment sauna Vipunen and is limited to a maximum of 6 participants at a time. The price includes the sauna healer's services for max 6 people, so if your group is larger, please contact us via email.
